One sign that old media might not be dead yet: famed furniture designer Tom Dixon has decided to have a go at running a magazine called Distill. The bi-monthly publication will have a fashion focus.

Along with the broad selection of fashion and art photography, each issue of Distill will contain expert commentary on the chosen stories, and include checklists of exhibitions, shows, new trends, book reviews and critiques of events happening around the globe. But as Distill’s creative and publishing director, Christoper Lockwood says,
