Several years ago The Sartorialist pioneered a new trend in blogging, bringing local street style to the desktops of millions worldwide. Since then, the street-style blog phenomenon has exploded, inspiring a thousand versions of the original, each a little different and with its own merits. There are the city-specific streetwear blogs, the high-fashion photo blogs, the user-generated versions…

Now, there’s Stitsh.com, which adds a much-needed element to the mix: e-commerce. Stitsh posts pics from the streets of London and links directly to product pages for each of the items their subjects are wearing. Where street style blogging has always been, “see it, like it, use it as inspiration,” the Stitsh model is, “see it, like it, use it as inspiration OR buy it right then and there.” Seems like a no-brainer.
