Boing Boing lets us know about a fantastic DIY project by Nathan Freitas and NYC Resistor. Using a sheet of plywood, some wood glue and the magic of a laser cutter, they produced a Ukulele in a very short time. It's not fully functional, but it is a great example of rapid on demand production of a more complex item.
