Designed by OMA / Rem Koolhaas in September 2008, the Prada Transformer is a ‘shape-shifting’ venue designed to exhibit a range of events.  Each of the four sides (or stages) within the tetrahedron contain a different shape better suited to a specific type of venue.  Koolhaas explains the hexagon will exhibit Prada fashion, the rectangle suits cinema displays, the circle will present fashion shows and the cross will hold art exhibitions. Launching in Seoul at the end of April 2009, The Prada Transformer will run for five months.  See Koolhaas’s video demonstrations here.
