Philly Transforms Recycling Trucks into Mobile Murals

The Philadelphia Mural Arts Program has teamed up with The Design Center at Philadelphia University to add a big splash of color and history into the city’s everyday street-scape. Ten recycling trucks have been wrapped with bold graphics inspired by the textile collection of the design center. The project marks the beginning of Philly’s new single-stream recycling program, where all recyclable materials can go in the same receptacle.
