A new hotel-casino in Chile has been wrapped in this grid like skin to deliver three objectives: to create a ‘dress’ that give the buildings under it a unified look; to create shade and improve thermal performance; and also to create a large urban lamp so that the building doesn’t need to add neon-signs to it to attract attention.
