3rd Ward
3rd Ward is a 20,000 sq. ft. open workspace and studio facility developed for and supported by artists. Founded to cement a permanent artist community in Bushwick, the space houses the works of those who may not otherwise have the room or resources to do what they do. 3rd Ward also offers classes and events exploring the entire range of the artistic spectrum, including photography, video, wood and metal fabrication, design, digital media and more. Wednesday night’s Drink-n-Draw sessions offer artists and non-artists alike the chance to mingle, be creative and buy artwork and other craft goods. The gallery at 3rd Ward displays a variety of work from every medium and the upstairs loft space frequently hosts parties that go on well into the night. – 195 Morgan Ave, Brooklyn, New York
