Habana Outpost
Habana Outpost is an indoor-outdoor eco-eatery that serves as Fort Greene’s truly unique community hang out spot. Its signature features are worth experiencing: smoothies are fresh-blended by bicycle power ($1 off the price of your smoothie if you pedal yourself), and the patio serves as a live music venue and mini movie theater on most nights. The kitchen (housed in a bright red truck permanently parked in the yard) runs on solar power, utensils are biodegradable and food waste is composted. Summer is the season to visit the Outpost, when the picnic tables are almost always crowded with patrons enjoying fresh corn on the cob and the restaurant turns into an outdoor market for local artisans and collectors. – 757 Fulton St, Brooklyn, NY

Habana Outpost is featured in our latest book PSFK Snapshot Brooklyn.
