Levi Strauss & Co is taking a small step to help decrease the amount of textiles that are thrown away every year by adding a "donate to goodwill" icon to their clothing's care tags.

Levi Strauss & Co is taking a small step to help decrease the amount of textiles that are thrown away every year by adding a “donate to Goodwill” icon to their clothing’s care tags. By adding this suggestion, Levi’s is taking responsibility for the lifecycle of their products beyond the point of sale.

The tags will also encourage owners to wash their jeans less, wash in cold water, and line dry when possible to cut down on energy usage.
