Mekanism Skateboards teamed up with Olafur Eliasson to create a distortive, reflective skateboard. To achieve this effect, Eliasson almost doubled the thickness of the board, making a 13-ply deck instead of the standard 7-ply. A 3D pattern was then milled on the surface of the skateboard and coated with a mirror finish.
