Transforming the already otherworldly sounds of the didgeridoo into something even more unusual, Kyle Evans has modified the traditional Aboriginal instrument using an Arduino Bluetooth module. A wireless microphone sends audio to his computer where the sounds are processed, and effects controllers attached to the instrument allow for real-time control. An impressive hack that fuses an ancient instrument with modern technology.
