This story is a reminder of the power the internet has to bring people together to do something good. Tyler Shipman has a passion for a particular car, the Pontiac Fiero. He was able to buy one a few years ago for $150, cleaned it up and even used it as a background for his high school senior portraits. He hoped to restore the car back to mint condition.

But weeks later, he was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Several chemo and radiation therapy attempts were made but his condition did not improve. Doctors delivered the news that he had a choice to either spend his remaining time in the hospital or return home for hospice. Tyler opted for the latter hoping he still might be able to work on the Fiero. With his strength growing weaker though, the reality of finishing the car and realizing his dream seemed hopeless.
