The Massage Me gaming interface turns the physical movements of massage into video game controls.

Students Mika Satomi and Hannah Perner-Wilson of the University of Art and Industrial Design have embedded sensors into the back of a vest, creating a gaming controller they call the Massage Me. The result is a gaming interface with an added layer of social interaction, where according to the device’s creators

“otherwise wasted button-pushing energy is transformed into a massage, and the addicted game player becomes an inexhaustible masseur.”
