The 2010 Detroit Auto Show began today with the first batch of press unveilings. Toyota debuted a newish concept based on an earlier Lexus version shown this past year in Frankfurt. This concept called the FT-CH  is interesting because the goal was to design a hybrid vehicle aimed at a younger audience. Think of the FT-CH as a younger sibling to the Prius. The designers took inspiration from classic 8-bit videogames like Contra, Megaman and Super Mario Brothers to inform the car’s styling.
