Dan says that the iPad will be an additive technology that will sit alongside our phone, work laptop and home computer. We will use this when we're in between places and Dan borrows from the title of Jan Gehl’s book about public space by saying the device will offer a ‘Life Between Buildings.'

If we approach it spatially – in terms of context of use I mean, rather than the device itself – it becomes clear why I think it’ll be a success.
