The Wearable Robot allows for an interactive telepresence experience, giving the controller of the device the ability to virtually share in the experiences of the wearer.

The Wearable Robot is a development out of Japan’s Tsumaki Telerobotics Laboratory at Yamagata University. The device allows for an interactive telepresence experience, giving the controller of the device the ability to virtually share in the experiences of the wearer. Proposed applications have included everything from uses for the elderly and disabled, to rudimentary Avatar-like implementations.
