Ford is planning to create an app store for its cars. This will enable developers to build programs which drivers can use while driving.

Ford has announced plans to create an app-store for cars, enabling developers to build software which can run on customizable displays in its vehicles.

Revealed at the SXSW festival in Austin, Ford intends to have an online marketplace where car drivers can download programs to use on the road.
