Houses Made From Recycled Plastic
Affresol is using recycled plastic to build modular homes.
A Welsh company, Affresol, is launching a range of modular homes that are built with recycled plastic waste. The material used for constructing these houses is Thermo Poly Rock, which is made using a patented process that turns plastic into a kind of concrete which is waterproof, fire retardant and has excellent insulation. The company claims that their material is stronger and lighter than traditional concrete, and structures using Thermo Poly Rock will be cheaper to build than standard homes.
