In this video Ken Goodson talks about how the furniture company Herman Miller implemented an efficient Toyota production system. It’s rather sweet because Toyota didn’t seem to want to help the EVP of Operations and his team and when they did they did the criticism was overwhelming. Nevertheless, they listened and learned to reach a 99% production reliability.
