Steelcase, the office furniture giant, has launched a new line of office furniture inspired by people’s everyday lives. Campfire, as the collection is called, is designed by Turnstone and promises to create a comfortable and vibrant work environment by taking people’s favorite indoor and outdoor activities and translating them into office furniture.

Turnstore designers believe that creating an environment which fosters innovation requires people to meet in informal settings; these same settings have been interpreted for office furniture. Be it the Big Lounge, inspired by a park bench, which is ideal for informal meetings or the Paper Table, reminiscent of a beach campfire, to encourage more collaboration and conversation, the Campfire collection enables casual work styles and more interaction in the office community.
