Telephone networks have been redesigning telecom masts as trees for a while now but we were curious to notice the urban version of this camouflage strategy in New York’s Murray Hill a few days ago. On top of a residential building there had placed a number of badly fitted faux brick walls to hide the telephone masts. If the walls had wrapped around the building maybe we wouldn’t have noticed them so easily….
