AEQUO, a Dutch design studio, has created a remarkable information plaza at the Culture Campus Vleuterweide of Utrecht-Holland.

The plaza’s shape resembles the interior space of a monastery and has a large church-style bench structure which contains a multitude of functions.

The bench island is comprised of an integrated ensemble of tables, chairs, lounges, information screens, presentation pillars and bulletin boards. The furniture is made of unprocessed oak with a felt upholstery finish.
