With the World Cup fast approaching, Nike is once again highlighting Brazilian flair and culture with a new film, exhibition and limited edition sportswear collection.

Premiered earlier this week at East London’s Rich Mix cinema, Nike worked in conjunction with Bantam Films to present Cadência, an exploration of the Brazilian way of life. Directed by Daren Bartlett and peppered with excellent artwork from aspiring young artist Jiwon Park, the film invites viewers to take a deeper look at the ambiguous essence of this amazingly rich culture. Bartlett explores the identities of the people, passions and past times through an anthropological lens whilst linking, of course, to the unifying phenomena that is football. Full of vibrance,  and featuring commentary from a host of avid characters (including legendary Brazilian captain Socrates), Cadência proffers a genuine insight into the cultural factions that build up the world renown global image of Brazil.
