For all the recent talk about “green” and “clothing with social responsibility”, it’s become easy for jaded consumers to dismiss much of these buzz words as being baseless when not backed by actual proof. However, one T-line is taking a stand and delivering the goods, and benefiting causes more than just a little close to home. Holiday Matinee recently worked with a local, non-profit charter school-offering its students an opportunity to design their own silkscreen tees, which they then voted on which designs to take part in their Artist Series. The nice thing about this? 100% of all the proceeds from these shirts will go straight to school funding. Additionally, all shirts are 100% cotton and made in Haiti (then printed in San Diego).
