In an attempt to compete with McDonald’s popular breakfast offerings, Burger King is testing out a “brunch” menu in Massachusetts and Florida.
The special menu, served till 10:30 a.m., features a breakfast sandwich on Ciabatta bread, Whoppers and a “BK Mimosa”, which uses Sprite in place of champagne.
CNN reports:
John Schaufelberger, Burger King’s senior vice president of global product marketing and innovation, stresses the brunch concept is only in its testing phase but admits the company has seen the trend grow in popularity over the years.
