Aliveshoes is a project started by a group of artists and shoe lovers from Italy who wanted to use sneakers to bring together art, fashion and sustainability. The shoes are handmade with environment friendly materials and painted with natural dyes. They are then used to create works of art and are installed in beaches and fields. Once the installation is deconstructed, each shoe, which has the artist’s original sketch stitched in its tongue, is available for sale.
