YouTube Opens Video Rental Store

The YouTube store has started offering movie and TV episodes for rental on its site.

YouTube has started renting out a range of movies and TV episodes at The 48 hour rentals cost from 99 cents to $3.99, and are paid through Google Check-out. While there is no formal announcement from YouTube yet, the rental store may have opened last week and is perhaps currently available only in the US.
