A tableware collection made from sustainable materials is inspired by Japanese design.

The Wasara tableware collection, designed by Japanese design studio Simplicity, is made entirely from renewable materials such as sugar cane fiber, bamboo and reed pulp. The pieces, which have a natural color palette, are biodegradable and are suitable for cold or hot beverages and foods. As is evident from the shapes and texture of the collection, the designer took inspiration from Japanese culture and tradition to design it.
