The newest chapter in Dior’s impressive Lady Dior campaign (which is paired with a stunning interactive site) has recently been released, and is directed by non-other than world-famous film auteur David Lynch. Though Lynch has lent his artistic vision to several commercial projects over the years (like for  Gucci perfume and Nisson Micra), this 16-minute short, featuring iconic French actress Marion Cotillard, retains much of his trademark style. Instead of overly perfected visuals, the film retains some of the disjointed and purposeful roughness of the footage which made Lynch’s earlier work so groundbreaking. In addition, John Galliano acts as art director- providing one of the best examples of collaboration in new media and fashion seen this year so far.
