Nissan has revealed how their zero-emission vehicles will communicate with Leaf owners' mobile phones.

The Nissan Leaf is a zero-emission vehicle showcased last month at the NY Auto Show. Nissan has recently announced that the vehicle will sync with a dedicated iPhone application that will allow users to communicate with the vehicle and control a number of functions. Through the built-in cellular data radio, the vehicle will be able to send push notification updates to the app, including updates on status when at a charging station or GPS directions on where to find the nearest one.
