A Powerful Wireless Microscope For The iPad


A new device could make the Apple tablet useful for cosmetic applications.

A Japanese firm, Scalar Corp, has developed a powerful microscope that can wirelessly transmit video to the iPad or iPhone. The AirMicro model A1 is equipped with a transceiver function for wireless LAN to display images and has a 50x lens to zoom in and out.  The expected use of the device is to help users examine skin texture and blemishes on the iPad. It can also deliver video to multiple iPhones and iPads simultaneously.
