Commonwealth’s Wooden LED Lamps

New York-based design studio Commonwealth has designed ‘The Truncheons’, a sculptural series of lamps which includes a suspension lamp, task lamp and a free tube to be rested against the wall. The lamp’s wooden fixture is CNC milled to create a ring effect on the surface and uses energy saving LED bulbs. The lamps use traditional materials and are shaped by advanced digital technology, mixing tooling with classic geometry.
