With habitat loss and dwindling numbers from poaching and human encroachment, the survival of the Asian elephant is under threat. Elephant Parade has sought to bring the plight of these creatures to the forefront by organizing, well, the Elephant Parade. Since 2007, a series of fiber glass elephants have appeared in a specific city each year, with the aim of raising awareness about the Asian elephant.

London hosted the Elephant Parade this year, with the exhibition closing on the 29th of June. 250 fiberglass elephant models appeared throughout London, each a work of art by different designers. Diane von Furstenberg, Alice Temperley, Manish Arora and Lulu Guiness are among the 250 artists to lend their names to the cause.
