Laurie Anderson's animated images are currently giving Sydneysiders an altered harbor view as part of the Vivid Sydney festival.

Laurie Anderson’s animated images are currently giving Sydneysiders an altered harbor view as part of the Vivid Live program for the Vivid Sydney festival.  Covering the Opera House, the images are projected by Peter Milne from the Overseas Passenger Terminal, a massive 450 metres away.

Milne and his team from the The Electric Canvas attempted a similar feat for last year’s festival with Brian Eno’s images.  This year the technique has been adapted to accommodate animated images, but Milne assures the show will still attempt to capture the energy-efficient ethos of 2009’s festival.

The projections are free to view from 6pm till 1am every night 27 May – 20 June.
