Portable Device Turns iPhone Into A Teleprompter
A simple system allows for effortless speeches.
‘Great Videos Without Umms & Aahs’ is how ‘Prompt-it’, a portable iPhone teleprompter bills itself. This telepromper can be mounted in front of a camcorder or webcam to allow reading text which has been imported into an iPhone while looking directly into the camera’s lens. The device costs $130 and contains beamsplitter glass that shows the reflected text directly in front of the lens, a platform to place the iPhone and a multi-function cover that stops the glare and can be used as a carry-bag for the device.
