Thoughts on examining where exactly all of our things come from.

A guest post at Triple Pundit by Jorge Taborga of Saybrook University emphasizes the need to sustain our personal supply chain for the sake of the environment. The post argues that we all are part of several supply chains, most of which do not care about conservation and regeneration of resources that are used. Unsustainable supply chains result in massive wastes, labor abuses and non-renewable extraction of our natural resources. Taborga says the world is currently using 1.3 times the amount of resources available in the planet and we need to optimize the supply chains to bring us under ‘1 Earth’ worth of consumption.
