BMW’s iDrive Brings iPhone Interface To The Dashboard

Drivers will be able to experience the familiar interface in their cars.

BMW has introduced a new automotive electronic device integration feature in its cars that allow applications on the iPod and iPhone to be controlled with BMW’s iDrive interface. By displaying iPod’s familiar menu on an external screen mounted on the car’s dashboard, it helps the drivers to safely navigate the roads rather than fiddling with their iPods while driving.
