Vancouver-based Pulse Energy Inc. has developed a real-time energy management tool that collects, analyzes, and reports a building’s real-time energy use. It contains a combination of hardware and software that connects the building’s energy metering hardware or automation system to a web-based application which gives building managers instant access to their building’s energy performance vital signs. This important data helps managers to know if any aspect of the building’s energy performance requires attention, thus enabling its improved operating efficiency.
