Sports arenas are looking to bring the in-home viewing experience to live games.

In an effort to win back fans who are choosing to forgo exorbitant ticket prices in favor of the comfort of watching sports at home, one stadium is looking to bolster live games by integrating cutting-edge mobile and video technology into their physical footprint. As the recently opened New Meadowlands Stadium prepares to kick-off the upcoming N.F.L. season for the New York Giants and Jets franchises, stadium operators are hoping to replicate the television experience with the  planned release of free smartphone applications that will offer exclusive content to attendees such as video replays, updated statistics and live feeds from other games.
