Professional designers teach kids lessons in creativity at this DIY-themed event.

Make Something!! organizes free DIY-themed workshops to nurture creativity. By inviting artists and designers from all over the world, they provide young aspiring artists hands-on experience with working professionals. The next workshops, running from July 12th to August 17th in New York City, are partnering with world-renowned personalities to teach children lessons in creativity.

This summer, NIKE and USA Basketball are bringing together some of the world’s best basketball teams and top musical performers to New York City for the inaugural World Basketball Festival. In celebration of the performance and culture of the sport of Basketball, NIKE is teaming up with Smithsonian’s Cooper-Hewitt, National Design Museum and Make Something!! a DIY art program founded by Aaron Rose, for a series of design workshops for teenagers in and around the city.
