Forcetek’s Xio arm-mounted controller fits onto a user’s arm like a brace and uses the position of their elbow and wrist to control games, providing a more immersive experience. Its technology is based on physical therapy systems and the arm-controller generates tactile feedback based on the happenings of the game, though it won’t be able to rumble a user’s arms in any way. Forcetek will allow developers to add extra support for the Xio arms and eventually plans to develop a full body exo-skeleton-style setup.
