Smart Pot Tells You When Plant Needs Help

The intelligent device alerts owners to suboptimal conditions.

UK-based designer Natalie King has created a plant pot that signals an alert whenever the plant requires nutrients. The ‘Tulipe’ pot has sensors at its base that detects the temperature, light and moisture levels needed for any indoor plant and lights up anytime these are not at an optimum level for the plant. Natalie hopes her invention will make gardening easier and encourage more people to pursue it.
