Solid wood pieces give a home to digital music devices.

One of the more interesting projects at the DMY International Design Festival Berlin 2010 was Korean designer Yu Kwang Soo’s ‘The Box Project’, a series of wooden furniture pieces embedded with speaker systems. The furniture line has been designed to make it compatible with portable music gadgets such as iPods and CD players. The collection also consists of a collapsible study table with a speaker system and a work table that features a built-in stereo system with a small pull-out drawer to place the music player and control knobs at the front of the desk.
