A temporary structure improves the experience of people commuting in the city of Porto.

The city of Porto in Portugal recently initiated a competition for artists to design temporary structures in public spaces aimed at improving people's life in the city. One of the installations selected was “Bus Stop Symbiosis” by Like Architects.

The firm's founder Diogo Aguiar explains the project:

Bus stop symbiosis aims not only to increase the space of the existing bus stop, but also to entertain those who are still waiting for their transportation.

The criteria for the competition were ideas that could be quickly installed and removed, without damaging anything in the process.
