Last night in New York City, Designer Pages along with Dyson and Humanscale hosted an event to debut the US national winner and finalists of the 2010 James Dyson Award and a panel discussion about the state of design. A team of students at MIT’s SENSEable City Lab produced the winning entry, the Copenhagen Wheel which transforms existing full sized bikes into a human / electric powered hybrid bicycles. Associate Director of the SENSEable City Lab, Assaf Biderman described the creative brief used to develop the idea.
