UK textile designer Jane Bowler is out to push the boundaries of fashion through a sustainable design approach.

Designer Jane Bowler has created some stunning new takes on rain coats using old shower curtains. The garments were fabricated using heat forming techniques and ultra-sonic welding. Bowler's work will be included in an upcoming exhibition called Sustain during the 2010 London Design Festival. The show will highlight creative solutions to sustainability issues in design. It is being staged by the Royal College of Art and will feature the work of their staff, recent graduates, and current students.
