(Pic) Shooting From The Hip

An unusually shaped concept camera helps photographers capture more intimate images.

Designer Yaniv Berg’s new camera design concept allows photographers to more easily “shoot from the hip.” The DSLR camera is designed in the shape of a periscope, shifting the shooting center of gravity from eye level, down to the waist. This angle is known to help capture more intimate and direct photographs without appearing staged.
