EV drivers will no longer need to fiddle with recharging stations to fuel their cars.

Evatran, a company from Virginia, has just introduced the world's first wireless charging system for electric vehicles. Plugless Power is based on the principle of electrical induction and offers EVs and hybrid cars to refuel without any driver intervention. To recharge, the car needs to park at a Plugless Power station over a parking block to automatically align itself with an adapter fitted to the vehicle and start charging.

Plugless Power costs around $4,000 and will be available from next year.
