A new specialty bicycle shop in Brooklyn aims to transplant the Dutch cycling lifestyle to New York City.

PSFK recently visited Rolling Orange, a new bike shop in Brooklyn which opened earlier this summer that carries bicycles and accessories specifically from the Netherlands. The shop aims to bring the Dutch cycling lifestyle to New York City with a curated selection of bikes from three brands: De Fietsfabriek, Batavus, and Dutch ID. Rolling Orange stocks city and commuter bikes as well as cargo hauling bikes which you won't likely find anywhere else in NYC. The cargo bikes from  De Fietsfabriek have extended frames, and seating carriages for children to ride in. These bikes are mainly intended to be used to shuttle children to school or on rides around the city. Nearly all of the bikes sold at Rolling Orange come equipped with an integrated lock and keys. The device is attached to the seat post and secures the rear wheel and is difficult for thieves to remove.
