Weeplaces uses the Foursquare API to map and compare your Foursquare Check-Ins.

Weeplaces is a tool that utilizes your Foursquare history to visualize the geography of where your check-ins are concentrated – across towns, regions or nationally. You can also compare your visualization to that of others in your social network (via Twitter, Foursquare, Facebook).

Most interesting is that Weeplaces is the result of a weekend project “inspired by the lack of people doing cool things with the FourSquare API.” The Motivity.com team subsequently spent the weekend building this first iteration.

Is the next natural step for Foursquare to integrate a visual map feature like Weeplaces’ into their standard navigation – and allow for a quick visual comparison to your network’s locations?
